  • Data Quality and Standards

  • Security and Compliance

  • Analytics and AI Enablement

  • Workforce and Change Management

Utilities have more opportunities than ever to create tomorrow’s electric grid using today’s data. That’s where the Data Framework Working Group (formerly AEIC’s Data Analytics Council) comes in. This leading group of subject matter experts empowers utilities to lead with data, align strategy with decision-making, and create a culture of excellence from the field to the boardroom.

Members are typically vice presidents, directors, managers, supervisors, senior data analysts, and representatives from AEIC’s other committees.

Coming Soon: Data Framework Charter

We’re working on developing best practices and guidance to help utilities streamline the adoption of modern data systems, break down silos, and scale the ability to gather, govern, access, and analyze electric-system related data. This framework will enable:

  • Consistent, secure, and interoperable data practices across utilities

  • Accelerated adoption of AI, analytics, and digital tools

  • Collaborative learning and reuse of proven architectures, governance models, and metrics

  • Practical implementation through education, demonstration projects, and aligned vendor participation

Stay tuned for the release of our Data Framework Charter and Toolkit later this year.

Virtual Meetings

All the meetings will be from 1:00-2:30 PM EST.
