Data Framework Working Group
Utilities have more opportunity than ever to shape the future electric grid using today’s data. The Data Framework Working Group (formerly AEIC’s Data Analytics Council) brings utility leaders and practitioners together to turn data into meaningful operational insight.
Through collaboration, the group is advancing shared standards, trusted governance, secure integration, and practical approaches that connect to real-world operations. The goal is to ensure utility data is reliable, accessible, and actionable for the decisions that matter most.
Members include vice presidents, directors, managers, supervisors, senior data analysts, and representatives from across AEIC committees.

Coming Soon: Data Framework Toolkit
We’re working on developing best practices and guidance to help utilities streamline the adoption of modern data systems, break down silos, and scale the ability to gather, govern, access, and analyze electric-system related data. This framework will enable:
Consistent and secure data practices across utilities
Faster adoption of AI, analytics, and digital tools
Shared learning and reuse of proven architectures and governance models
Hands-on implementation through education, pilot projects, and aligned vendor participation
Stay tuned for the release of our Data Framework Toolkit later this year. Want access? Contact Elizabeth Cook at ecook@aeic.org.

All meetings will be 2:30-4:00 PM EST.
